Eliminate the Worries Keeping You From Doing Great Work

Smokey the bear had a lesser known brother who was a businessman. His claim to fame was a catchy hook, only you can eliminate the worries keeping you from doing great work.

The boardroom can feel downright gloomy. Boring and lackluster banter lead to needless arguments of what went wrong and what shall we do now? You, stuck in the middle.

Have you ever had the pleasure of watching a dog chase his tail? Meetings can feel like the human equivalent.

Asking the right question is far more important than the answer you get in most cases. As we generally search out answers that reinforce what we perceive the issue being.

I've spent hours in meetings without anyone knowing specifically and concretely what the real problem was. How do you think those meetings end? Hell in a handbasket seems like a fitting description, albeit a tad dramatic.

Starting a side gig is a daunting leap of faith. Should I spend my time figuring out the intricacies of SEO? Or should I double down on Social Media, hoping to improve my likes and followers? Well, that depends, what is the problem?

Just what is the problem? The problem was: that I put content on the backburner. Choosing to instead chase likes and followers. What good is a viral post if you're the content equivalent of Vanilla Ice?

My finite time was gobbled up, pushing others content. Limiting my ability to focus on the unique aspects of my work, that you appreciate. Robbing me of the pleasureable and inviograting experience creating my own valuable content.

Asking the right question saves months, if not years of clarification. Not only do I produce content daily, I spend less time worrying about trivial bullshit. The hours I spend creating content are the first hours of mental relaxation and peace that I have had in months.

What is the problem you're facing? You have the answer.
