Ask Yourself This One Question For Unparalleled Clarity

When you're ambitious, doing nothing or giving your mind a break, feels like your kryptonite.

As I write this, my mind is racing. I'm stoked for Seth Godin's The Marketing Seminar, starting at the end of July. I'm hyper-focused on building my brand in an authentic and meaningful manner. I want to tell stories that resonate with my readers. It's the price for becoming distinct in your field.

All my energy is channeled toward excelling as a Coach for Millennial Professionals and Entrepreneurs. I want to provide unparalleled value to those I partner with.

I had an incredible meeting at CoMotion, a local co-working space yesterday. One of my mentees blows me away with how ambitious he is. He's developing an incredible brand on YouTube. It's exciting to watch him interact with influencers. It's not a question of if he'll hit, it's a matter of when. He's hungry. Did I mention he's 15?

Being a bystander as we watch others hit their stride can be all the motivation we need to push forward and grind.

Or it can be the reason to throw in the towel, why the hell did I even try?

No matter what kind of stuff you tell the world, or tell yourself, your actions reveal your real values. Your actions show you what you actually want.

What do you want your days to look like?

Ask this question when you're trying to make a decision about what do you want to do next. It forces you to imagine the day-in and day-out realities that making such a choice presents you with.
